The UX process involves diving into client input to craft a design that revolves around the user. This means gathering insights from clients about their aspirations, needs, and preferences.

Once we’ve gathered this information, we analyze it to uncover patterns and themes that guide our design process. This analysis helps us create personas that represent our audience and user flows that map out the steps users take to achieve their goals.

By immersing ourselves in client input and crafting a user-centered design, we as UX designers empower ourselves to create products and services that not only meet but exceed the needs and expectations of our users.

2. Gathering Requirements

We embarked on a journey of stakeholder interviews to grasp the business needs and high-level goals necessary to develop a UX strategy. Our approach involved setting goals post-information extraction, understanding stakeholder roles and objectives, and meticulously documenting our findings through interview notes and video/audio recordings (with permission). Daily design sessions were held to ensure continual feedback.

3. Wireframes

Drawing from the requirements and initial insights, we embarked on the exhilarating task of visualizing a preliminary website structure, encompassing wireframes and user flows. Reflecting our collaborative spirit, we iteratively progressed from basic sketches to high-fidelity wireframes, ensuring alignment of our design vision with our esteemed stakeholders.

5. High Fidelity

After completing our UX process, we crafted precise high-fidelity designs. The objective of these designs, following user research and design sessions, is to empower us to build a prototype for testing, gather feedback, implement post-release feedback, and iterate. We persist until the design embodies user needs and fulfills the stakeholders’ vision, refining and polishing until completion.

After completing the design work, we ensured that our designs were thoroughly validated by the client and our internal design team, addressing any potential flaws. We then meticulously organized all deliverables, including style guides, research summaries, prototypes, and other artifacts, to prepare for a seamless handoff. Furthermore, we took personal pride in hand-coding and delivering the website.
