Kidneys Quest Foundation (April 2022 – Present)

  • My current focus is on implementing user experience (UX) protocols to create compelling marketing materials that can engage customers and drive sales. As part of this effort, I am working on devising marketing strategies that can help businesses reach their target audience more effectively.

  • In addition, I am also responsible for updating websites to ensure they are visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines. Creating content strategy processes is another critical part of my job, whereby I work closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and goals, and develop a content plan that aligns with their objectives.

  • To create innovative concepts, I am leveraging the Figma application, which is a powerful design tool that allows me to create interactive prototypes that can help clients visualize their ideas and make informed decisions. Furthermore, I am utilizing my extensive experience in digital process orchestration and design engineering to carefully evaluate, map, and re-engineer processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Cigna (August 2021 – March 2022)

  • As the team lead, I was responsible for developing the product strategy for MOS, an internal web application. I worked closely with both the business and the users to ensure that the requirements were clearly understood. I then used the Figma app to create innovative design solutions that met the needs of all parties involved.

  • Throughout the project, I led the full design process, which included creating user personas, wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes. I ensured that each stage of the design process was thoroughly documented and accurately reflected the needs of the project.

  • Finally, I handed off the project to the developers, providing them with detailed redlines, flowcharts, and specs, to ensure a smooth and seamless transition from design to development. Throughout the project, I remained committed to delivering a high-quality product that met the needs of all stakeholders involved.

City National Bank (March 2018 – August 2021)

  • As a professional, I have implemented a strategic approach to creative problem-solving, collaborating with stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to ensure that all submitted designs were executed accurately. This approach enabled us to ensure that the products we developed met the needs of our clients and users.

  • Additionally, I have led a team of 10-15 designers in the redesign of a legacy product suite. This was a complex project that required careful planning and execution. I worked closely with the team to ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities, and that we were all working towards the same goal. We used a variety of design tools and techniques to create a modern, user-friendly product suite that met the needs of our clients.

  • Lastly, I developed a systematic approach to delivering assets and design specifications to front-end developers using the Sketch app. This involved creating a detailed process that ensured all design specifications were accurate and up-to-date, and that all assets were delivered in the correct format. This process enabled our developers to have everything they needed to build high-quality products efficiently.

McKesson Health IT (March 2017 – March 2018)

  • During my time as a UX designer, I took the initiative to champion a process that would allow me to work closely with the development team. This process involved implementing a systematic UX approach that ensured the delivery of high-quality design solutions. As a result of this process, I could define and execute all phases of UX and UI design for a web application called IKMG2. This included creating sitemaps, wireframes, flow diagrams, mockups, and comprehensive designs aligned with the project’s goals and objectives.

  • To achieve this, I worked in an agile framework that allowed me to collaborate effectively with the development team and other stakeholders. I was responsible for instructing and teaching Scrum teams on how to work more effectively with UX designers, helping them understand the importance of UX in the development process and how to integrate UX design into their workflow.

  • Throughout this process, I ensured that I followed design thinking principles and user-centered design methodologies to deliver designs that met users’ needs. I conducted user research and usability testing and provided feedback to the development team to improve the application’s usability, functionality, and overall user experience.

Kaiser Permanente (March 2016 – March 2017)

  • As a member of the User Experience team, I was responsible for closely collaborating with the UX lead to develop the “Coverage and Costs” center of kp.org using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). My duties included creating wireframes, flowcharts, feature diagrams, sitemaps, and interactive prototypes.

  • I was tasked with translating complex financial system requirements into effective design solutions that met the needs and objectives of project managers and stakeholders. Through close collaboration with these teams, I was able to ensure that the design solutions were effective and met their requirements.

  • One of my major accomplishments was the successful redesign of the media player. The new design featured a sleek and modern appearance that greatly enhanced user experience. I utilized Sketch and InVision to develop the redesign.

  • Moreover, I developed prototypes rapidly to gather feedback that contributed to decision making for the final design solutions. This approach enabled me to create design solutions that were effective and met the needs of our stakeholders.

Earthrise Multimedia (September 2015 – March 2016)
